Have you thought about a house with a separate entrance to a mother-in-law apartment, basement apartment, etc? 

How do you approach someone who's living in a $1M house and driving his-and-hers $$$ cars and explain to him that the fact that his wife is endlessly determined to prove to her own mother that she could have more kids and turn them out better on Sunday by documenting it on Instagram is the main thing holding him back?

My situation: My mother owns a home that has a relatively low balance left (15k or so).

I attempted to do a cash out refi into my LLC, and was told all i needed was to add my mother as a minority member to my LLC to properly transfer the deed.   

My plan was to move in the 3,000 section with my wife, also move my mother inlaw in the 2 bedroom suite which is 1500 sqft.

My mother in law watched my dogs when we were out of town.

Otherwise, why can't your mother cosign for you on a mortgage?
