Asbestos can cause health problems if it is inhaled, so if you have any exposed pipes that are insulated with asbestos you should replace the insulation, however it is unlikely even that would cause a health problem.

Our family owned company does that, but obviously we can't run our own plants and mills due to volume, just like a rehabber can't run their own plumbing manufacturing plant or their mining of copper then turning it to a copper pipe.

there was a leak in a pipe underneath one toilet and that plumbing (and floor) was repaired, the main stack pipe in the basement was replaced and some minor unrelated repairs were made (one sink was missing a pipe - seriously, some drain clogs, etc).In the duplex I bought on July 31st there was a plumbing issue prior to me buying it (2nd floor bathroom pipes).

Lastly, once you get all that set up, I would highly consider umbrella insurance especially if you have multiple properties, it bolsters the liability part of not only your properties' insurance but of your personal home and auto as well - once the liability limits on these policies have been exhausted that is when umbrella insurance kicks in.

I don’t know why the drain pipes smell, the flickering lights are easily fixable, but this bathroom floor situation has me thinking about what I should I do.
