Just so you know, I did search for the answers before I cluttered the forum with another thread.There is a lot of talk of finding properties that must be sold as a result of divorce and bankruptcy (I know about the NOD to REO event line).

I was reading an article talking about how potential sellers who are in bankruptcy protection but are about to fall out of protection, are most likely motivated sellers.

I don't read the news often because of stories like this. I cannot believe how one sided this sap story is. Can anyone point out all the items they left out to complete the business circle?

The file switched negotiators once or twice and this last guy tells me a few weeks ago that if the homeowners had ever filed a bankruptcy, then they would be dis-qualified for the program.

So, I started calling the seller to ask about this blanket mortgage and the seller explained they were about to file for bankruptcy and needed to sell their entire portfolio.

Remember, they can always refer themselves😊Now, make it a goal to call at least 5-10 of these people EVERY day and ask a MAX OF THREE off the list below of who they know that:Just inherited a homeHad a loved one pass awayIs behind on their mortgage or tax paymentsHas a relative that can’t take care of their house anymoreHas a house they’re having trouble sellingIs facing bankruptcyKnows a probate attorneyKnows a bankruptcy attorneyetcWhy only three off the list per contact?

I still having figured out what happens to the value of the ICO if Kodak declared bankruptcy in 6 months. 

I watch unfunded liabilities and unfunded pension plans because the two obvious solutions politicians will choose are 1. raising taxes or 2. declaring bankruptcy.

Then you have got bankruptcy which is 7 year wait using Conventional loan or around 2 years with FHA and then you have the same scenario, High DTI, bad credit.
