The owner is 72 and I think there is an awkward thing with his and his daughter who is a poor manager and he wants to wash his hands clean from this property.The other issue is because of poor management and because it's always been a family affair, there hasn't been a good record of financials.

It was a bit awkward but it worked.

I'm in an awkward situation right now, I'm currently set to buy a Duplex here in Raleigh that I plan to owner-occupy.

I always feel a little awkward at this point because I don't want to have a house unrented for 30-45 days but I also don't feel like I'll know the true condition of the property until the tenant is completely out to tell people when a place will be available.Any feedback on how you do it would be great!
