If you typically get your news from certain print publications or radio shows, you can look to see if they have podcasts too (WSJ, NYT, SF Chronicle, NPR, Fox News are some examples that have podcasts)  For personal interest I have lots of podcasts about financial crimes/fraud, farming/agriculture news and some other topics (I am a registered dietitian and a true crime junkie.)
