Hello I recently bought a resort in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico, wine country 1 hr drive from San Diego, CA.

I don’t know if these are the best the In the country but two areas I like are the eastern shore of Md, 250k is douable though it’s probably closer to 300k in most parts, another area I’ve started to do more more research on is Lancaster pa.

Just remember not only do you have to deal with real estate pricing in those countries but their currency against the dollar.

We cannot as we are out of country at the moment.

I'm a licensed agent in both markets, licensed general contractor in columbus and soon to be miami, I travel to capital markets and the highest interest is in ground up construction and purchasing of entitled sites. 1 million is light for downtown but you can get 8-12 story sites for that that you can put high density on. phenomenal opportunities. best market in the country. you can sweat equity by doing the zoning meetings, helping on design, etc.

I've been an investor and broker for the last 10 years in FL and NC, and specialize in the mountain regions, and beach regions because that's where most of the tourists, and investors who want getaways, invest (certainly there are many other interesting markets to invest however, booming wine country for example..)To add to it, I love the environmentally responsible home building, that's something I've had an interest in for a while, and I've worked with several contractors and architects in the last few years to come up with a useful plan for alternative and environmentally responsible building materials. 

It's not particular close to anything spectacular but it's not way out in the country either.
