I would file a complaint with the regulatory board and give him a crappy review on any online rating to warn others.

They've been warned that should it be an issue again, they will make the owners remove the door and frame to the area and create a cased opening. 

I don't think there was any warning from their team on the choices the previous board made financially. 

I believe in the BRRRR book, David Greene said to be cautious in a neighborhood like this, for the very reason being that it is a warning that there isn't a high demand.I will be house hacking it and it is also in a less populated, lower income area.Thanks!

I think it was more of a warning of what could happen, not what will happen.
