Well, shortly after I posted that last post, I went and subscribed to @Mark PodolskyLad Geek Investor's Toolkit (his newsletter offering a back-to-back holiday discount got me).

I get emails from MNREIA about upcoming meetings, I believe there is somewhere on their website you can subscribe to receive email about events (www.mnreia.com).
