Hi everyone,
My name is Jordan. I am a commercial real estate investor from Baltimore, MD. I work in a family investment firm with over 75,000 square feet of office, retail and industrial property. I enjoy learning about different investment opportunities and I find that every year I learn more about the business. I am always looking to learn more tips about financing, property maintenance, finding tenants, executing proper due diligence, etc. And I am also looking to be a resource for investors that may have questions about office, retail or industrial product.
Don't hesitate to reach out to me. Thanks!

Thanks, Scott. I can give some interesting insights into some of the deals we've done, and what types of real estate we like to own.
Basically, we like to buy properties on major suburban roads with excellent visibility and traffic counts. The visibility helps to lease the property and for tenants with retail customers (even if they are not necessarily retail businesses like a doctor or lawyer), it helps customers find their business.
And at the same time, we like real estate where the tenants have to be in that location specifically and can't easily move their business. An office tenant can move his business easily if the space is a commodity and the tenant can find cheaper rent elsewhere. But in retail or industrial property where the tenant has invested major amounts into their business, it makes it difficult to move and the leverage in the negotiations between landlord and tenant changes to favor the landlord.
