A sudden spike can indicate a water leak, an unauthorized tenant has moved in (extra use of shower and laundry), a tenant doing laundry from their home for other people, or extra water has been used for landscaping or to fill a pool.Our water department will give a credit back on the account if a qualified plumber will attest to the fact that excessive water leaked due to broken line and show the repair has been done.
