Rent control can be a real deal killer - most listing agents love to use the pro forma rents (market rents) even when their true rents are 50% of market.

Moving forward, I’ll avoid forcing these situations since market forces are beyond my control. 

It the same for pool heat, that though, you can charge by the day if you have it set up to be controlled remotely.

Remove emotions from your investing decisions and think very rationally.

A toy that breaks even kid of thing but you have no control how you rent it.

In addition in many jurisdictions the primary unit will become rent controlled.
