Post cards are a money drain, if you do this make the most out of it.

I googled and wondered if these could be drain flies?

We just had our first bout of repairs (washing machine not draining and leaky toilet) 3 months in.

You might also have issues with rusted out drain pipes.Everything else is easy :)

Some will overlook telling you about the gutter that came loose or not notice their waste basket under the kitchen sink pushed into the drain pipe and there is a slow drip.

My STRs had more drain clogs per unit by far than our LTRs (7 for the 2 STRS in 2019, I think it was 8 for the 17 LTR units) but some of that is beach sand and age of units (our STR units are our oldest units, built in the 1920s and the only beach units).  

However, I strongly recommend you don't drain your savings!

We installed drains, sump pump, vapor barrier on the walls.

Difficult to offer advice without knowing your full story and goals but college for myself was 10's of thousands of dollar down the drain.
