Stolen utilities are almost guaranteed in illegal grow houses and they stick everything on the homeowner nowadays. 

The wiring and most of the plumbing had been stolen along with all of the fixtures, appliances, HVAC, hot water heater, etc.

My property Management company collected rent from a tenant through a credit card for over 3 months after which they found out that the credit card  was a stolen one and hence they had to refund the money to the bank for the fraudulent transactions. 

I moved out went to college, moved back home with parents and started saving money.The market here is....unique.It's very hard to find a duplex to house hack in an area where your car wont get stolen.

We repeatedly had vacuums stolen, the glass cook top broken, and a bath tub overflowed on the 3rd floor.

Police had to break in the back door then fire a round into the rear window of the stolen car he was trying to start in the garage to escape. 

We have been burned 1 time from a VRBO booking who used stolen cards and a fake identity to sale drugs out of our house.

Small multi-family C+ property...About a year ago, one of my tenants complained to me that packages were being stolen off the front porch of the duplex she lives in and wanted a security camera installed. 

Last week, I was informed the house was broken in with furnace& hot water tank stolen!
