Our line was broken off the main and had tree roots going through the old pipe.  

There are tree roots growing into a combined pipe that I share with the attached unit (owned by different Landlord).

. :-) Fair response...I know you know...but I'm also sure you know, some (Not you) take such a literal translation of the root etymological definition of a word and run with it.

I guess the root question is, can an LLC with me and my partner legally manage the property without a license?

@Hilary Hageman Also keep in mind that my "un-sellability" perspective with SFRs is more rooted in my California experience.  

At the root of the situation the bank underwriters job is to protect the bank and as a secondary protect you from yourself.

We've brought in two dehumidifiers which are helping, but I'm not sure what the root problem is or even who to ask for help.

We also visited the Olympia, WA and Salem, OR areas - we just don't know where to plant roots.
