I am new to investing but have a business degree focused in entrepreneurial management.

We just had a young lady claiming to be able to generate 350K in sales per month with targeted Facebook ads, no overhead, no US mailing address, no ability or desire to verify her claims, all with a degree in political science from the University of Michigan (supposedly), a Wix website, and an Instagram account full of duck-face selfies and inspirational sayings.

If you have a degree, find the best pay you can for said degree. 

So essentially employment by a brokerage to some degree is necessary to have an active license and access the MLS?

Also, for C- areas you should be getting 1.5%+. 1% does not build in enough reward for the risk and hassles you'll encounter with tenants and property maintenance (they're mainly all older homes with varying degrees of deferred maintenance).

I have a few friends who are interested in investing in Realestate to some degree with me.

The issue is right now where I am in pursuit of my degree , I will need a lot more time in school to get to where I want to be.

What helps me is my business degree from Harvard.
