Temporary job change for a better financial future

So I have been working in the education field since 2012 and I love it , I want to become a special education teacher . The issue is right now where I am in pursuit of my degree , I will need a lot more time in school to get to where I want to be. On the other hand , I have experience and two of three licenses in the insurance industry and working on my third. I don’t really have a passion for the insurance industry , but it pays me a good salary and I will have the opportunity to make a lot more with bonuses and it also has good residual income . Not to mention ther is a plethora of other work from home opportunities and different ways to accommodate my schedule. My goal is to save money , build my credit to invest and purchase properties. I have a good plan , but it will have to come with a two year sacrifice with changing my career and my current job to take on a different position to save more money and build a better financial future. I will never give up my passion for wanting to work with students , but I wanted to ask if this seems like a good plan to anyone else? I’m bouncing this idea up and down and I wanted some other opinions. Please let me know !! Thanks in advance, Tevin
