There are other shades that have a mix of colours but the brown shade is darker and seems more likely to hide stains.

Really it all comes down to the roof, South facing is fantastic, East-West is workable but less efficient because you must cover both side, North is useless, Shade is also a deal killer.

I'd recommend a darker color for a rental unit because even with low staining, the lighter colors will stain or become very hard to clean if say coffee or red wine are left on the surface too longer.
