I sent the RFQ and received responses from Ft Worth Ins, two agencies affiliated with Goosehead (interestingly they came in 2nd and 4th lowest), Allstate, Farmers, State Farm, Al Boenker, GEICO, Tx Farm Bureau, and a few other local agencies, plus I think 3 or 4 that chose not to reply or provide a quote. 

Once again, I am just curious and would like to hear from those that are and have been entrepreneurs, affiliates, or knowledgeable about this particular topic.

Since 1031 is a federal statute practiced identically in all states and also followed by almost all states and since many 1031s cross state lines anyway the location of your QI is not quite as important as with some other of your vendors.To find someone at the local level there may be someone who is an affiliate member of your local Realtor association or board of realtors. 

I am sure this will get me scolded by the MS faithful hereColumbus, OH -- I see good TK providers operating hereHouston/Dallas -- I see these on a lot of the affiliate websites, but my feedback is property taxes are high and cash flows are not good.
