In my area, an armoire attached to the wall counts as a closet.

I also LOVE large closets and where every inch is useful. 

I will put a master bedroom where the current dining room is, and they can have a big master closet where the current pantry is.

I see this alot.  1 bathrooms, 2 kitchen, 3 increase closet space if/when possible (pre 1990 homes)

I can recommend an awesome inexpensive and portable system.

It's like your own portable REIA without the pitching at the back of the room ;)

A few of the bedrooms do not have closets.
