If I was applying somewhere and didn't hear back, I would assume my credit or rental history wasn't good enough and be too embarrassed to call.If a tenant is nit-picky and demanding when you first meet them, they're just going to get worse.

If you get good enough to find multiple properties, I guarantee you there's people here that would be glad to split the deal with you and show you how the process works, or put up the funds! 

But, on the other hand, he knows his value and his pricing is sometimes outrageous.I tried to explain to him my point of view, and reflect the idea of losing deals or spending too much on rehabs.So, that's the place I need your advice.Is that a deal breaker, or his other values are good enough for the situation.Thank you!

If you find a cheap enough house where the taxes aren't $500 bucks a month then the rent for that area is probably not good enough to cover everything. 

Deals are hard to come by like I say in my market, but if I can find a 4-unit all 2BR unit at a good enough deal to put on a 15-20 year note and have a little equity to start, I'm looking at 6-8k in gross rent depending on the neighborhood.

Plus if you get a good enough deal who cares if there are a few unexpected issues.
