Most of the time these things would pass via a Trust, and a deed would be recorded from the owner's name into the owner's trust, and then ownership would pass by the trustee after death via the trust terms.

If you were to combine several of the units together to the point there are only 5 units in the building, would this destabilize the whole building and be able to bring the rents up to market rates once the leases laps?

The scammer either:Claims they work for us and our systems are down forcing them to use their cell phone or claims they are the property owner and have terminated us because we couldn't find a tenant for them.They ask for either half a month or a full month of rent upfront, via Venmo, to schedule a MoveIn, but don't really ask for any documentation.These prospects aren't even in our software systems yet and all the correspondence is via text.

Hey Jason, it is funny how people have diffrent opinion about syndication here Personnally I invest via syndication for several years now and never had bad experinece out of it.I did 35+ full cycle and always making good money.Their is always risk in any investement and I think as an investor you need to choose carefully who you are working with and don't be shy to ask for SREO or any track record from those syndicator oout there.good luck investing

@Grant Francke Here is what we recommend to our clients:For Landlords- Have two bank accounts one for receiving rent that is received from Buildium and another bank account for everything that is not received or paid via Buildium.- As Buildium has all the details of the tenant, there is no use duplicating it in QuickBooks.

I can change the deeds for I think $35-$40 each, but was wondering if instead, I could just transfer my company/LLC to somebody via Will.
