Being a realtor at 18 is very hard since it's a commission business (you don't get paid until you close), but it's worth getting your license young so you can use it on the side and learn from a team in the area.

However its really a balancing act and different for each owner depending on time and comfort level with your construction team and suppliers.

They can often recommend key team members like contractors, broker, and property managers.

My partner and I are looking to invest in a property along Hudson Valley (BRRR) and are building a team in the next 1-3 months.

I've connected with a few investor knowledgeable realtors through BP in different markets to start researching areas and building a team of mentors and advisors.  

-Even though I'm good at management do I treat this venture as it own as if I have no PM structure - or use my team as if I'm my own client?
