Investing in Kingston/Hurley & Hudson/Catskill (BRRR) - Happy to Connect!

Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well and enjoying the fall weather. I came across this amazing community through the BiggerPockets podcasts. It’s nice to meet you all, and I’m excited to connect with more people who share similar interests!

My partner and I are looking to invest in a property along Hudson Valley (BRRR) and are building a team in the next 1-3 months. We have narrowed our search to two areas: Kingston/Hurley and Hudson/Catskill. We're looking for either a duplex (larger lot preferred) or a SFH (3B2B preferred), aiming for a rehab budget of under $50K. It will be our first time doing rehab in NY and we thought it'd be very helpful to talk to someone with experience in this area. We're based in NYC and have OOS investing experience (long-term and mid-term rentals), and I would love to expand our adventure to the Hudson Valley and meet with like-minded investors and mentors.

If there’s already a community like this, could someone please refer me to it?
