Heard you focussing something like this on the podcast.

Hi BPI was wondering is it common practice to use a PO box and a "virtual" phone number (such as Grasshopper) for the privacy of my personal address and phone number. 

I've seen some back and forth about whether you should call or only send letters to get initial contact with heirs/estate holders (out of privacy or respect I suppose?).

What do the (privacy-related) laws say and what do the bureaus do to create these data that makes this distribution legal?

I am just pointing out that wanting personal privacy and wanting to build a business are conflicting goals.

With cell phones and privacy, nobody lists their cell phone anymore.

I provide inexpensive vertical or horizontal blinds for privacy on townhomes and condos just due to the nature of communal living, but no curtains.
