Hey @Elizabeth Beard, It seems as though this deal can turn sour real quick - let me explain.Let's assume that you happen to convince the guy that it is in his best interest to go through with the purchase of a new house, 6 months later he is miserable and files a complaint with your realtor board.

LOL  They do box out certain dates and times so that they're not overrun on the holidays and other busy seasons to where the visit is miserable for the once-in-a-lifetime guests.

Everywhere else I tried that same message/technique it failed miserably.

Now I'm a screening and management miser... until I make my next mistake of course.

You'll be miserable if you are really risk intolerant. 

Anyway they did not have a long wait.Advice:  do not push them into sharing a rental if they do not want to:  they will make your life miserable!

It sounds like you've already made up your mind so be true to yourself, don't worry about what others think you should do or think of you, I guarantee 95% of them are miserable anyway.

Some people start as teenagers and are wildly successful while others start at 70 and fail miserably, and the same could be said for the opposite.
