Long story short, I am currently a law student [also getting MBA], but I have decided that a career as an attorney is not for me.

Just because it's free doesn't mean it won't cost you something.I have a BS in Business and an MBA; I would go back and do it all differently if I had a different set of knowledge and information after HS. 

Although i consider myself financially savvy (CFA, MBA, 20 years in banking) taxes are not my thing.

As the primarty breeding ground of Excel drones maybe I can im thinking it cant be hard to find an mba candidate with experience in fund modeling.

I prefer to do the accounting myself since I do this professionally for a large company and have a finance degree and MBA.

Working on an MBA.  

Many MBA students don't forgo wages OR pay for tuition as employers have tuition reimbursement programs.Doctors and specialists have 8 - 12 years of schooling plus years of residency at low wages.
