Madoff has done more harm to the investment community than any single individual I can remember in financial history.

Enforcing a NCND would probably require going to court, and from my perspective that would probably do more harm then good for my business.And of course I am NOT an attorney so you should check with a qualified attorney in your state about all of this.

However the administration and substance of the list is very rigid and specific.A contract is not required.  

I don't have any concrete leads yet but as they say there is no harm being proactive :).  

If by the means of this website or any other social media I or those of use with some experience can keep some body out of harms way or save them a couple grand then its worth it.

The plaintiff suffered some degree of injury, usually economic harm   How to avoid all this?

How sellers can be harmed usually doesn't cross the minds of new players as they don't look beyond the transaction they are dealing in, there's much more to it.

A call to the city attorney might get them straightened out, causing financial harm due to giving out incorrect information. :)
