We installed an alarm system - we own the equipment and don't have a contract, so when a future tenant moves in (hopefully these tenants will stay a while), we'll pay for the monitoring month to month as long as it's vacant.Yes, it was a $600 investment in the equipment, but the pipe theft cost us over $1700 and we had no insurance for theft.

I would not do it again for current market prices in that neighborhood.... the buy side is too expensive and the retail prices haven't really caught up yet.Jimmy Hong - That's actually staging equipment we own... it gets stored in our warehouse between use.

If a lot of owners don't pay their dues, the common pool might become too dirty to swim in, the fitness equipment might break down and become unusable, the clubhouse might not operate as efficiently, at the end the paying owners might have to pay a lot higher than they should to keep things running.

Get proof the subs were paid even worse ...even if the subs are paid and he installed on my property 10K worth of various equipment HVAC, appliances etc ...the store that sold them the equipment can come after me if he did not pay the store.
