VRBO does distinguish between the two and leaves it up the the Host and Guest to sort it out in the case of ESAs.Note that the FHA (Fair Housing Act) does not support service animals in a short-term situation, not does the ADA specifically.Here are some tidbits I came across while researching this topic - ESAs are not required to be allowed in these cases:1)Buildings with four units or less where one of the units is owner-occupied2)Single-family homes that were rented out without using a realtor.
