I prefer the quickbooks desktop (mostly because I am used to doing everything from my computer), however we use the online because we are always moving around and in different places at the same time or different time, so to stay on top of all the different transactions and expenses we use online to utilize as we go versus waiting to get to our laptop to input all our receipts and data.

It prints to .pdf format and goes out 1 to 20 years.Others online charge a monthly fee and you do not own the program which is why I like this one because you pay one time and it sits on your desktop.

If you're doing remote desktop, even like 1.5 meg connection will work, which beyond bad (I know because I used to use that at one point for a little bit). 

Do you write down your information in a notebook and then enter it on a desktop at home?

We have a program where we get you a line of credit (pre-approved) but we still have to have at least a desktop appraisal done so it cant be sight on scene.

Honestly, I'd just call up an appraiser and ask for a desk top appraisal. 

I'm in the process of re educating myself on this stuff and what' going on now still have much more to learn and I know all about mt gox I had a little in there when it shut down but I was always paranoid about keeping my coins on the internet I always had my own wallet for each kind of coin on my desktop my friend had all his coins in a website wallet and they shut down now he has nothing wouldn' have been worth much but still don't trust any websites. 

Using a desk top version of the CRM on a mobile device can also be inefficient.
