Try reading the daily news paper on line. 

I have a couple main questions:1) Are newspapers and craigslist still effective for finding new tenants?

They're justifying this to the managing agent / broker community by telling them to pass this through to their customers (meaning us.)My understanding, and this goes back to the old newspaper ad days, is that advertising was paid by the broker. 

If unclaimed, eventually the trustees can file a motion for alternate service and obtain court approval to post the notice on the property or place a notice in a local newspaper, etc. and the judgment will stand.

The PR would have to publish, as well, Notice of Petition to Administer Estate in the local adjudicated newspaper to notify creditors (if any)..

With LVP under 4mm thick, any imperfection in the subfloor is definitely going to telegraph through, and it won't take a significant low area to cause a spot where the planks pop down / click when you step there.  

And I don't want to end up in the newspaper/local FB feed in an article like this: "Greedy investor/scammer cheats heirs out of Dad's property...."

Numbers in a newspaper is one thing, but 10-20 check ins a day  with no price resistance has been an amazing thing. 

The spirit of the law is another and up for interpretation, if you abuse it, then a court may find you in violation of the spirit of that law.At the end of they day, do what you feel is right and you wouldn't mind your family reading about in the newspaper.
