Having even just a little experience as a licensee can be an invaluable way learn the basics of real estate in the relatively formal setting of a broker's office, even if the licensee doesn't renew the license at the end of it's term (as I did not renew).True, there is a plethora of valuable information here on DP, but finding specifics and putting them into practice can oft times be confusing and time consuming, and may not be a viable option for someone just starting out--except for its long-term value.
