BiggerPockets Coach

Hey all, I'm really hoping a BP active poster out there would be willing to coach me in the ways of rental properties and the ins and outs of getting started in the area I'm in. I know this maybe not be ideal way to go about it but bc of my job I don't have much time to actually find a mentor in Wy. I spend hours on this site learning as much as I can but some of the things you all discuss or mention I just don't quite understand.

I am very serious about getting into the REI business and I am willing to take as much time as needed until Im finally ready to make that leap into the business.

Thanks!

Brandon Proctor Welcome to BP. First off, when you start a thread, try to title it so that it will get the attention of those you're trying to reach. For instance, maybe RENTAL PROPERTY HELP!! and then if you have specific questions, ask them. People will chime in with answers. Next, if you see a thread and have a question about the subject matter, post and ask your questions. Also, if you see people posting that you think are knowledgable and you want to ask them something, post @Brandon Proctor (usually it highlights it, maybe it's because we aren't colleagues ? Joshua Dorkin) << like that.

The point is, get in on conversations, don't be timid. Everyone on here started somewhere. There are no dumb questions. You can't get the answer if you don't ask the question. (well it may be on BP somewhere if you search) Good luck... have fun!
