Hard for me to see how we navigate all that unscathed (and there’s more- rampant social media misinformation, bitcoin, US dollar as reserve in question, China autocracy, and of course there’s still the Middle East…and oil.)So if something big happens you have the option to cower and cover your head, knowing you have access to more emergency heloc funds, or go big and bold and make new investments in unprecedented times. 

If I wasnt getting a cash out of 125K I wouldnt be doing it, since Im using that money to pay the interest for at most a year and change , though gas prices are back down, china is coming out of lock down, time to wait for the supply chain to recover.

Sourcing directly from China is cheaper, though more complex.

Our daughter teaches children in China from 5 AM to 7 AM her time and then goes to her day job.

For instance China is almost the exact opposite as ours.
