If it is big and that interest rate risk is too high you may consider refinancing to a FRM and carrying the next loan as an ARM for a small property you acquire.If there are flaws in this logic I would love to hear about them.

This is still the responsibility of the homeowner to repair.7.HUD had not listed in their inspections the serious termite damage that was uncovered in the roof joists.8.HUD had not listed the Mold issues.I would like to recoup my entire $5,000 EMD, $300 inspection and costs to activate the utilities.

Its a similar scenario of saying that HP stock is yielding X% so who cares until of course HP goes from 50 to 13.Is my logic flawed?

If there are obvious flaws with the home, discuss this matter politely with the seller, or through your real estate agent, and see if they’re willing to either repair the flaw or reduce the price.

If you look at your home like an investment (ie value add) you can buy homes to live in that immediately have equity because you saw that a flaw in the house driving buyers away was easily fixed.

If the landlord uncovered it, I’d just uninstall it and tell them to take it out of my deposit.I can’t imagine this working well at a large apartment complex like where I live.
