Also for countertops we use formica (remember it is a rental property), but you need to use a dark color, if a tenant burns it it is not so noticeable, you can either charge them for the repair, and if it blends in you don't have to change it.

It might be worth leaving some of them in & having a landscape service come in once a year for a touch up.I go with standard color's in each unit, if I have carpet, light tan.

I just thought it was really bizzare that he was worried about touching up the walls with the wrong color, but he didn't seem to be concerned about the leaking faucet and running toilet, which are easy to fix.
