Except from contractual payments, i have to put 15-20 k usd for interior/decor/furniture and i will be able to rent property 1 for around 700-1000 usd/ mon, and latter for 350-400usd/ mon.Tought thing is that our country is facing cash shortage, property prices going down, local currency (som) ex rate falling, and people are unsure about the future economic situation.

You would think that we would start having these discussions sooner than closing day, but we have a tough time visualizing everything until we're walking through it with no tenant, no furniture, no agent hovering and the ability to really take our time and just hang out in the place for a couple hours.The way I handle it is this.

Might not be for everyone.I had a large out door closet that I rented out for 40 dollars a month which was cheaper to the alternative at the local storage place for 80 plus a minimum 6 month stay etc.

Per his request we did clean some mildew / mold (small spot behind furniture ) and it has not grown back.
