I'm interested in exploring real estate investing and I'm considered attending meetups to learn and connect with people.

I’m also wondering how to decide between investing locally versus exploring other areas.Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve actually co-owned w my mom for most of the last decade but am exploring options w friends and am just wondering how many others are out there that have either done it or thought about.

I also have no intention of investing in rental properties in the UK no more due to a lot of horror stories and potential new changes in laws, which is why I am very eager to explore the US rental market.I am not a US citizen, my partner is and it will be a joint venture.

We are now considering house hacking by buying a neighbor’s house due to our kids' school proximity.Our monthly expenses for our current home are $3,000, and the estimated rental value is $2,300-$2,350.

Less families/kids more disposable money, but more liberal policies and people who are more vested in the government than other institutions.  

If there are opportunities for collaboration or sharing industry insights, I would be delighted to explore them further.

If you file your taxes and you have 5 kids and you don't take that deduction, you missed out on the loophole- the IRS designed it this way- the ENTIRE system is a loophole and those that know how to navigate it reap its benefits and of course some of us miss them and find them later. 

At our last turnover, we had neighborhood kids breaking in several times while vacant, damaging the house until we installed a security system and camera high enough that they’d need a ladder to get to it.
