Hi there, I'm a current student at a local university. I've been learning from some books, biggerpockets, and youtube. About a month ago, I started working at a brokerage. While it's been an okay experience, I haven't felt like I'm gaining the knowledge I hoped for; if anything, it feels like I'm moving further away from it. I'm interested in exploring real estate investing and I'm considered attending meetups to learn and connect with people. My idea is to offer my skills, such as social media management, painting, or assisting with various menial tasks, in exchange for the opportunity to learn the trade. I'm open to accepting lower pay in return for valuable learning experiences. Would you say this approach could be effective?
