If you've done a cash-out refinance this year, what did you use the money for—home improvements, paying off debt, or something else?

I’d probably want to pay a little less than the seller paid, which they probably won’t like but usually if you sell that quickly and haven’t made any major improvements, you lose money.

I think it could be something if improvements made, maybe.

That is high pressure sales form a home improvement salesman .

Require a minimum vote ratio of 0.8 or 0.7 to post and that would eliminate the spam, improve content, dramatically improve speed of use, and eliminate the dumpster comments. 

Huge opportunity to add value by making improvements to an older office building.

I do agree with Dan that appraisals are more unpredictable, but would expect this to improve with increased activity & national recognition of ADUs in the lending world.3) Not sure what is meant by stability.
