The biggest impediment is the horrible system our state has for municipal finance, but we can save that for another time.

<g>People renting a 'just-until-our-house-is fixed/done' house want it to be close to their house. They say they had dogs there.Their neighbors all still live there.Their police station and officers are still there.Their house is being repaired by an insurance company - if there was anything other than fairly slight damage - it would be a teardown.Their yard wasn't damaged by the fire. All you have to say is: Wow; that's horrible.

I have a lot of experience working with clients in all categories from experienced investors all the way to first time buyer/sellers, whether it's with REOs, HUD homes, foreclosures, or regular sales. When I'm not working, you'll find me traveling, at sporting events (even when our teams are horrible), trying out a new restaurant, playing my guitar, going to see some of my favorite classic rock bands in concert, or getting some culture at the different museums around town.If I wasn't a Realtor, I think I would be starting a restaurant or trying to come up with the next big idea to make people's lives easier.I joined BP because I'm interested in networking, finding new clients to work with, and of course continuing my quest for constantly learning new things. If you think I might be a good connection, or at the very least a nice person, then I would love to talk!

It's an interesting thread to read, no one can seem to understand why horrible credit, and drug trafficking charges would make a landlord not interested in renting to someone.

This is out of hard won experience, all the property was either empty or occupied by non-paying tenants, and all the property was in horrible disrepair and in DEEP tax debt.
