Swamp coolers may be affective enough, just remember they are pumping even more moisture into the house on top of the natural humidity.

If there is no ventilation, adding a vent that turns on with the light could be a huge help in limiting moisture levels in a bathroom, if nothing else it will pull fresh air into the bathroom and help get rid of any odors.

A good inspector will have a moisture detector and can point out any water trapped in behind walls, which could indicate potential mold or rot issues.

3 plex flat roof property has leaks on the inside, had a few roofers looked at it.the scope of work involves:1.Existing roof has many years of patching and patching and needs replacement, considering a tapered insulation system to give a bit of slope for rain runoff.2.Many of the joists are rotted on their ends due to moisture damages and neglect, so a significant number of those need to be repaired by sistering a longer piece to tie it back tobwhere the members are solid.3.Some plywood decks if rotted may need replacement, no telling now many until roofing membranes are torn off.4.All wood fascia are to be replaced due to rot.5.Repaint new fascia.Am I correct that I should request two invoices two "jobs", item 1 is new roof to be depreciated, item 2-5 are repairs that may be expended one time?

Any water heater has an infinite lifespan IF IF IF -The tank lining was installed properly at the factory.The factory workers handled it gently enough to avoid cracking it.The plumbing supply guys handled it at least as well.The plumber handled and installed it even more gently.It landed, fully intact, at the end user's address.And which then was properly maintained afterwards.Until very recently I owned a house which had a gas water heater which had been installed in 1958.

The sprayed loose foam packs down over time and becomes massively less effective; especially if it comes in contact with moisture.
