There are plenty of resources and tools out there to help you refine your strategies and manage your property effectively.

But the damage was done—I had already gone through three management companies, three evictions, and a lot of lost rent and legal fees.

Include a fine for violations, additional fees for mitigating smoke damage (including odors), and whatever else is needed.

All of my Asheville STRs have significant, but manageable, damage apparently.

I have relationships with my contractors and don't need/want a tenant who caused damages harassing them because they are unhappy they didn't get 100% of their deposit back.

The only way a STR is grandfathered in, is if the property was already permitted and set up before the regulations went into effect.
