All my units need to be clean, warm, and secure, with smoke detectors, working appliances, windows that open and close, and hot water.

I took a quick look through my CA residential code book and could not find any code requirements for a closet, only requirements for a bedroom are smoke detector and egress window.

Unless you spent that entire month looking at houses and Doug homework to know what is a smoking deal ad you are only going to buy a smoking deal.

My question is whether or not forms like a pet addendum, rental application, carbon monoxide/smoke detector acknowledgement etc. are state specific - I know the residential lease is subject to certain state regulations and will be asking an attorney about it.
