Perth is now in full transition from a long running strong growth market to (driven by a ~12 year resource commodity boom) to now being the only capital city in Australia seeing a negative slide in the median house prices.

I have had houses in some localities where the tax collector would send the bill to the mortgage company, and in other localities the tax collector will not send the bill to the mortgage company.

I know you're seeing the boom in the RE market since everyone is moving here.Investors,  i would like to know, are you stilll investing  (paying the increasing prices of RE) or are you waiting for prices to go back down?

Now, this was coming off an insane boom from '01-'06 (so I'm about even on all and ahead on a few.  

We are looking to expand outside of the state due to the boom in the RE market in Dallas and am looking at KCMO and Jacksonville, FL as our next targets. 

They decide, "The lobby needs new furniture" before fixing a back-up water pump, so one day the main pump goes and boom, no water pressure.

Subdivision development has continued to boom locally despite the national lull (if you google population of kennewick or pasco wa you'll see why) however the national situation still affects competition for jobs here.

We'll Winchendon used to be rural but not so much since the last building boom.
