Getting a tenant isn't an overnight thing, you may have repairs to make before getting one, so it could be a few months of paying double before you see any income generated from your househack. 

@Jimmy Leaton If you can rent out your primary home and it can be cashflow positive to help with upkeep from maintenance, repairs, and any bits of vacancy then it's worth exploring more.

What needs to be repaired etc.    

Shouldn't be an issue in most big cities having a list of cash buyers that are just dreaming you will bring them a 70%-repair deals.

How do they handle emergency repairs?

Teaching personal finance, woodshop, home repair, car repair (the mechanical part) and cooking should be required at every high school.

They were extremely fast to get the pictures and whatever was needed to get the house started to repair. 

I understand I could buy a multi door property , I didnot want to deal with rehab/ repairs nor do I have the experience at this point How did you finance this deal?

My financing strategy would be to HELOC the down payment and repairs then, as quickly as possible, do a DSCR to bring the mortgage together and lock in a lower interest rate.
