I’d think fewer people would be looking there due to the off season in tourism (but I could be totally wrong!).

I am looking to make my first investment property purchase and have always been really interested in the Florida real estate market, mainly Orlando due to constant tourism.

Phone calls and mailers have been our focus.Which inbound marketing technique would you reccomend?

Tourism is up higher than last year as of right now!

From everything I see on this website and from the Book on Rental Property Investing, nothing in my area really fits the model deals, but with appreciation and new tourism I hope getting my foot in the door will be worth it and then I can look elsewhere for the future. 

Both US 59 and US 290 morning inbound and afternoon outbound traffic is horrendous, simply too many cars and not enough concrete to drive on.

That's where the action is in terms of tourism, rental income and active market.

Between the price of oil, no tourism this year and lack of demand for seafood due to restaurants being closed locally, nationally and in the world Alaska has some serious economic headwinds going against it. 

Especially as the industry up there is based mainly around tourism, which can be volatile.
