We use a respirator with two HEPA filters, seal the doorways inside the house, remove everything from the room, cover walls and floors with plastic and we wet the ceilings with a garden hose or HUDSON SPRAYER 4 to 5 times until the popcorn turns to mush.

It will branch off to the "cold" side of all the sinks and tubs, all the toilets, and all the outdoor hose bibbs. 

The basements are shallow - they were hand dug, because they did not have hydraulic excavators back in 1920s. 

Yeah, that will hose my credit for some time, and I'll be out $25k in credit.

If the foundation was concrete, I would actually bring a garden hose into house to add more water. 

And I know plently of those folks been funding them for decades... its what they do.. but if your not up for it you will get hosed financially and could get hurt physically.one of my hood landlords just got robbed at gun point.. 

Fair hosing does not pay my bills.It is that simple. 

It will drive the hose prices up, but realize the local government is an AGGRESSIVE TAX HOG, and that will impact the values downward somewhat compared to California where the taxes are frozen from day one of purchase.

If you have to have an outside spigot for watering, get a faucet lock.On the other hand, I've seen people in other places snaking a hose out from the basement utility sink.
