Dear BP Family,My wife and I added an apartment in the basement of our residence and have been renting it out for the past year and a half with great luck, but the one complaint we get is the noise from the main floor.

Are these units section 8 quality, or are these units being dolled up with stone countertops and lvp floors instead of sanded hardwood floors or Armstrong 12 by 12 tiles.

The price will vary of course but roughly for one bedroom unit, with wiring, plumbing, finished bathroom, kitchen, hardwood floors etc. could go around $20k.

Too much trouble to reset that flange, you'd have to jackhammer up the floor and all that tile...Just get a 14" toilet.

In the 3.7 feet wall in the square nook is a window that goes pretty close to the floor and an air vent so I can't put anything there.

Would need new floors, cabinets, stove, fridge, installing a ceiling in the kitchen (currently a drop ceiling), trim, and running a water line to be able to install a washer/drier.
