Don't get fancy and drive up cost of improvements.  

But if it’s set aside on its own private land and you dress it up real nice, I think guests might really like it!

One way to do this is to find areas that are already super artist communities where the fancy coffee houses have moved in along with higher end shops.

So dress up nicely and go to the restaurants/bars near the hotels and strike up conversations with any single guys, find out more abou them and try to get your place rented out.

I definitely want to feel safe, but obviously can't afford houses in fancy neighborhoods.

Gatlinburg cabins tend to be older and often times not well taken care of unless they’re in some fancy hoa with a pool which is not my style. 

Looks great - just that small amount of "fancy" backsplash tile puts a little eye candy in there.

I can teach someone to do just about anything that's not rocket science, but I can't (or won't) teach them how to come to work every day, give a **** about the work they're doing, be honest, treat other employees and the public with respect, be on time, dress appropriately, etc.

Not sure about most things but I think commercial office space is going to be particularly shaky when this is over, because there's going to be a lot of businesses that figure out they don't really need any kind of fancy digs in order to service clients.

Stay simple don't go fancy, say what you have to on the card and that's it.
